Caring for your Chiweenie(s)

Get ready to fall in love with chiweenies all over again! Here are some tips on how to care for your chiweenie(s) before you take them home.

We recommend homecooked meals. Such as; sweet potatoes, chicken, salmon, rice with vegetables, fruits, and etc. Alternatively, a mix of homecooked and dry dog food will do. Just remember; no red meat, corn or grain, dairy and soy products. And all meat or fish cooked to well-done.

You can soften the dry food by letting it soak in, idealy, warm water to make it easier to eat. Or even blend/grind the dry dog food til its reasonably fine, add warm water and mix to a paste like consistency.

DISCLAMIER

We are not responsible nor can be held liable for anything that happens to the dog(s) after the adoption exchange is complete. The adoptee(s) agree that they are responsible for following the laws/regulations regarding dogs; licensing/registration, veterinarian visits, health/vaccination, and any other requirements declared by the adoptee(s) state/country of residence. We do not deliver chiweenies to adoptee(s).

The adoptee(s) must be 18 or older to adopt any of our chiweenies. Adoptee(s) are aware that they must present identification, proof of residence and a financial statement/documentation verifying that the adoptee(s) can provide care of the selected chiweenie(s), prior to the adoption exchange. All adoptee(s) must be present throughout the whole process of the adoption and are aware that all present adoptee(s) must sign an adoption agreement that will be provided prior to the adoption exchange.

The adoptee(s) agree to pre-adoption supervised visitation, at the adoptee(s) own cost (travel, hotel, etc.), of at least three days and each visitation lasting at least 2 hours. Day one will be an introduction with the selected chiweenie(s), and to confirm that these are the chiweenie(s) the adoptee(s) intend to adopt. Day two will entail building a relationship/bond of trust and security between the adoptee(s) and the chiweenie(s). Day three will solidify said bond and the adoptee(s) will sign the adoption agreement. At the end of day three visitation, the now adopted chiweenie(s) are ready to go to their new home! The visitation is to ensure the adopted chiweenies are at ease with the adoptee(s) allowing a safer, fun and peaceful journey back home. We do not deliver chiweenies to adoptee(s). The adoptee(s) agree that the chiweenies must be picked up by the adoptee(s) who were present during the entire adoption process, no one else can pick up the chiweenies on the adoptee(s) behalf.

The adoptee(s) agree and are aware that a photo will be taken after the adoption exchange is complete, in which, the adoptee(s) can choose whether to have their photo or just their names posted on the Chiweeniesrock’s social media, website, and google business page. The adoptee(s) agree and are aware of the requirements of remaining in contact with ChiweeniesRock sending video updates of all adopted chiweenie(s) for one full year, once a week for the first month, and after the 30 days, then once a month.
